Our group consists of biologists and engineers with diverse background. Our main international collaborator is the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (VT). That are committed to building an experimental house to support bioinspired research.

Our research group is well positioned to embark on the vision of being an international center of technology and engineering inspired by biological systems.
Our central idea
What motivates our research group is that biodiversity and biological systems can provide insights that lead to novel engineering concepts and solutions. Thus, conducting a research in Brunei is the wealth of biological resources, heart of economic development and innovation that improve and sustain human livelihoods.
Our Aim
Our aim is to establish an internationally-renowned research platform that will leverage Borneo's biodiversity to transform bioinspired technology.
